CHRISTMAS WITH THE HERALD

Enjoy Christmas with The Herald at Tavcor Volkswagen on William Moffett on Saturday. There will be entertainm­ent for all ages including a kids' fun zone, zip lines, live entertainm­ent, music, food trucks, gift and craft stalls. Father Christmas will vist at 5pm and there will be Carols by Candleligh­t at 8pm. Gates open at 3pm and tickets are R30 a person (children five and under free), on sale at Quicket.

CRADOCK FEST

The Inxuba YeThemba Music Festival is at Lingelihle Stadium in Cradock on Saturday with headliners Zahara, DJ Euphonik, DJ Sun-EL ft Simmy, Dladla Mshunqisi and Holly Rey. Other artists include DJs LV, Funksta, Welo, Road, Cy, Pastor, Snare, Enjoy and Abza, as well as Gino Ginelli, BO Kay and Rebel Rizz, and MamTshawe, Mafa and Mr Oryt will MC. Tickets are R150 (R300 VIP) at Computicke­t online, plus R100 for a cooler box. Doors open at 11am, the music starts at 2pm.

SPARKLERS AND CAROLS

The Boardwalk will have openair Christmas carols next to the lake on Friday, with sparklers and lighters on sale for R20 (proceeds to charity). Inquiries: 041-507-7777.

CAROLS AT AMSTERDAMH­OEK

The Zwartkops Conservanc­y invites the public to come carol singing on Thursday. Meet at 7.30pm near Settlers Bridge, to walk along Amsterdamh­oek (refreshmen­ts at 128 Amsterdamh­oek afterwards). The Music Kitchen is hosting Koos Kombuis on Thursday at 7.30pm, Black Cat Bones at 8pm on Friday and Valiant Swart at 7.30pm on Saturday. STREET PARTY

Remo’s is hosting a summer street party at 3.30pm on Sunday with musicians Cedric Vandenschr­ik, Joe van der Linden and Lloyd Martin playing classic rock songs on the deck. Tickets are R150, inclusive of a light snack, on sale at Remo’s. The first 50 tickets sold get a free Aperol Spritz.
