The Locally Yours Christmas Market will be at the Tramways Building until Wednesday with handmade items to showcase local entreprene­urship. Vocalist Kelly le Roux will sing over lunch and Edward Allen in the late afternoon, until 8pm. Entrance is free and the market is open from 9am to 8pm on Tuesday and from 9am to 4pm on Wednesday. SOUTH END MUSEUM OPEN

Although some reconstruc­tion of exhibition­s are still taking place, the South End Museum is open during the holiday period but will be closed on Christmas Day, Day of Goodwill and New Year’s Day. Inquiries: CC Abrahams, 083-371-5736.

PUPPET SHOWS

There will be a puppet show each day between midday and 1pm until Saturday December 22 at the Boardwalk Amphitheat­re, in conjunctio­n with Obed Production­s. Tickets are R20 and proceeds will go to charity.

MATTHEW MOLE

Singer-songwriter Matthew Mole will perform at the Music Kitchen in Newton Park on Tuesday. The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are R170, on sale at Quicket. ART WORKSHOP

The Nelson Mandela Metropolit­an Art Museum is running a beading pattern workshop on Wednesday or Thursday for children age seven to 16 from 9am to midday.
