AFRIKAANS MISICIANS IN BAY

The Barn in Blomme Avenue, Greenbushe­s is hosting Afrikaans musicians this week as follows: Friday December 28: Jay; Saturday December 29: Ray Dylan and Nicholis Louw; and on Sunday December 30: Bobby van Jaarsveld. ATTA VICTOR MEMORIAL RACE

The Atta Victor Memorial Race continues on Thursday to honour the legacy of Victor, the promoter of Victory Raceway who passed away in December 2016. Drivers from Bloemfonte­in, East London, Oudtshoorn and George will compete. Gates open at 2pm and racing starts 6pm. Adults pay R70 and children under 13 R20, with track parking of R20 per vehicle. OLD YEAR DANCE

Bianca School of Dancing presents an Old Year Dance at Malabar Community Centre with Bell Aires Band on Saturday December 29 from 8pm until late. SA electronic trio GoodLuck, Freshlygro­und, dance music powerhouse Kyle Watson, and folk-pop artists Rubber Duc will all be ringing in New Year in Plettenber­g Bay at the Get Lucky Summer NYE Party on the Robberg Rugby Club lawns on Monday December 31.
