Even if they lose to Camper United at the NU9 Stadium in Motherwell on Saturday, PE Sundowns will retain their place at the top of the SafaNMB SAB League.

The log leaders, who drew both their matches last week, are just three points ahead of Camper, who are tied in second place with Roaring Tigers.

Tigers roared into second place with a convincing 3-1 win over Despatch Pioneers last week.

They take on Bush Bucks at the Chevrolet Stadium.

After a flying start to the season, Bucks seem to have gone off the boil and are fifth, six points behind the log leaders.

Madibaz Football should make up lost ground when they play Golden Aces at the Zwide Stadium.

They dropped to fourth after a disappointing weekend which saw them suffer a shock defeat to tailenders Amarhamba United and shared the points with Sundowns.

After picking up four points last week including the win over Madibaz, Amarhamba will be on a high when they play Highland Spurs at the Jabavu Stadium in Uitenhage.

Spurs were thrashed 3-0 by Major Chiefs last week.

In the only match on Friday, School of Excellence play Stinging Bees at the NU2 Stadium in Motherwell.

Both teams are midway on the league table. Although it is still early days, with current performance both are unlikely to challenge for honours.
