Another courier vehicle hijacked

A Ram Couriers truck was hijacked in Central at about 11.30am on Thursday.

It was the second Ram Couriers vehicle hijacked over the past two days.

Police said the driver and his assistant were offloading boxes in Evatt Street when two armed men confronted them and locked them in the back before driving off.

Labans said the van then stopped in Richmond Hill Street.

“The suspects opened the back and took several boxes before loading them into a Polo.” –
