Tussle developing between NMU, Londt Park

- Neale Emslie

Londt Park and NMU are heading on another collision course as the men’s Super squash league enters its final two rounds on Wednesday.

This week, champions Londt Park took a break as the varsity side took control of their match against Crusaders, gaining maximum points to move two points ahead of their rivals.

Although Westview top the log with 40 points, they have played a match more and the standings should have a more realistic look about it once they have played NMU at Westview on Tuesday.

Londt Park are up against Saders and will not underestimate their opponents, despite them being bottom of the log.

After kidney stone issues, Greg La Mude has a game under his belt for Saders and his presence at No 1 creates a different dynamic this time.

The women’s Super league has reached the halfway mark and champions Saders have confirmed their dominance.

Nonetheless, there is still plenty of work to be done because they were pushed by NMU on Tuesday.
