Malala should check the facts

-

It is high time Justice Malala did some investigation before putting pen to paper on his two favourite hobby horses, US President Donald Trump and race.

First, Trump did not tell anybody to drink disinfectants (fake news, Justice), but he did take a well-known medication, 40 years on the market, after consultation with his doctor, himself.

Second, how many black men were shot under former US president Barack Obama?

None? I don’t think so. What did he do?

Third, 98% of black people murdered in America are murdered by fellow blacks, not whites.

Fourth, in the late 1960s I witnessed numerous demonstrations by thousands of people in London, usually all the way from Hyde Park to Trafalgar Square, even antiapartheid demos, marshalled calmly but strictly by the good old “bobby” in uniform. No rioting, burning or looting.

Fifth, in SA today, the violence, with some exceptions, is mainly perpetrated by black people against other blacks.

Even the present house arrest is far worse for the unemployed black population, yet somehow they meekly accept this ... as well as the everyday theft of billions.

To my knowledge, no-one has gone to jail for the theft of billions from Eskom, SAA and VBS, to mention a few.

Sixth, I know it is in vogue to carry on about climate change, yet though Al Gore predicted catastrophic events 20 years ago, the water in our river has yet to rise by 1cm!
