Matheba promises her fans new ‘ B*Dazzled ’ episodes
Get ready BForce, Bonang Matheba is ready to give you all you want on her YouTube channel, B*Dazzled.
Eleven years ago, the media personality documented her experiences in the entertainment industry on YouTube episodes before her reality TV break on Mzansi Magic’s Being Bonang, which ran for three seasons.
Since launching the first episode, showing behind-thescenes footage from her collaboration with Steve Madden, fans have been expecting more.
In a recent sit-down on YFM, Matheba said she and her team “had to put it on hold because our country was mourning”, but said she was ready to air her next episode on April 28, as she had been travelling to different places creating content.
“I travel quite a lot.
“My days are different.
“[ Some days] I shoot for B*Dazzled, sometimes I don’t.
“I’m dating now,” she said.
“I have been working.
“I know the BForce have been annoyed with me because they feel I’ve been quiet and not sharing, but I’ve gone much quieter and that’s only because I’m 35.
“The older you grow, the quieter you become, and that’s because I did all the shouting and dancing when I was 20.”
On Twitter, Matheba recently revealed she was shooting the second episode in Cape Town, saying juggling work and a relationship was another factor that delayed the content. “I’m in Cape Town, shooting episode two.
“Askies, had to pause many things due to unforeseen circumstances, please bear with me. Kea jola also, so laziness,” she wrote.
Previously speaking to TshisaLIVE, Matheba said she wanted to occupy the digital space more.
“B*Dazzled is something I started many years ago and now, as an entertainer, it’s fascinating how quickly traditional media has changed.
“B*Dazzled was lovely, it showed behind-the-scenes life and the usual everyday things.
“It was a lot less scripted.
“I’m going back to my YouTube era, it’s important to be on YouTube, my fans wanted this and I’m ready to give the people what they want.” —
