VIENNESE NEW YEAR

On Sunday, at 3pm, the Eastern Cape Philharmon­ic Orchestra (ECPO) will begin the new year with a fantastic Viennese New Year concert.

The concert will be conducted by maestro Kutlwano Masote, and will feature soloists Lynelle Chrystal Kenned and Njabulo Sifiso Mthimkhulu.

The concert will highlight works by Strauss, Lehar and Offenbach, and will be presented in the Feather Market Centre.

Tickets cost between R120 and R150 a person and can be purchased online via Quicket.

LIBRARY FUN

The Friends of the Linton Grange Library’s next book sale will take place on February 24 from 8am to 12 noon.

Non-members are encouraged to join.

The Linton Grange Library will meanwhile host a book club on February 14 from 10am to 12 noon.
