HAVE SOME MANNERS

I agree totally. Staff are not taught business etiquette nowadays. Such an irritation. Denise

NOT NEGOTIABLE

It’s is said three things are not negotiable — safety, a clean city and regular maintenance. Why does security not form part of a nonnegotiable strategy?

CONCENTRATION CAMPS

With all due respect, the dogmatic views expressed by Mike Oettle concerning the SA concentration camps are alarming and not backed by any reference. According to nzhistory gov.nz, there were some 40 concentration camps built to house the Boers displaced by the scorched earth policy carried out to remove the main source of support for their commandos. A further 60 were built to house ” 115,000 native Africans working as servants for the Boers”. All this information is readily available on Google and for the record it has been established some 28,000 white and 20,000 black people perished in these camps. It was genocide.
