PUZZLE NOT SOLVED
The editor’s reply to Greg B’s inquiry about the disappearance of the Weekend Post puzzles, with its demise, refers.
To refer him to the regular Friday puzzles is dropping the ball and is disingenuous. Why not just include them in the Weekender as promised? Many of us buy the local papers especially for the crossword puzzles.
Hansie van Nikswerd I woke up this morning on March 1 and no Weekend Post to relax with my cuppa tea. Worst of all, no puzzles for later in the afternoon once my house chores have been done.
Please add the puzzle page in the Weekender in The Herald on Fridays so I can save it and do it on Saturdays.
Very disappointed Would you please include puzzles in your new Weekender additions? Without my daily fix of crossword and Sudoku life is just not the same.
Disgruntled Granny I agree with Greg B (puzzling matter). The puzzles are a big reason for my subscription. And I need the second set included in the new leisure for my Saturday early morning cuppa.
Please consider adding the extra crosswords and sudoku to the supplement as well. Thank you.
Moira I’m with you, “Greg B”. No crosswords, Target word and so on in the Weekender. And we are condescendingly told we can enjoy the Friday puzzles! Which we do anyway. Very poor show and response.
Joyce G Dear Editor, while you are considering our crosswords, could you please also consider the full week TV schedule previously in the Post? Thank you.
Birdwatcher I wish to protest about the lack of a crossword in the new “weekend insert” on Fridays.
The crossword in the Friday Herald is for Friday. What about the crossword I looked forward to for Saturday. We are being shortchanged. Please fix it.
