Court ‘blunder’

ONCE again a High Court judge has accepted a “cock and bull” story from a man accused of murdering his female partner, leaving the prosecution with no avenue of appealing against the verdict due to the provisions of the National Prosecution Act that restricts such an appeal to points of law and not fact.

When is the government going to reform this glaring discrepancy in our law.
