Murder accused returns home
INVESTIGATORS are wasting no time wrapping up their investigation into Spier murder accused Jason Rohde, and say they need three more months before they have what it takes to prove their claim he killed his wife, Susan.
This emerged when Rohde appeared in the Stellenbosch Magistrate’s Court yesterday. If the investigators are successful in that time, it will have taken a mere six months to gather the evidence needed to prosecute Rohde, and make their case watertight.
Magistrate Greg Jacobs yesterday granted Rohde’s application for the amendment of his bail conditions so he could return to Johannesburg.
The case was postponed to January 27.
