‘Lion Man’ trial

-

CONVICTED killer Mark ScottCrossley will stand trial for alleged attempted murder in the Lenyenye Regional Court on April 12, Limpopo police said yesterday. The Limpopo game farmer was charged with assaulting a wildlife centre worker last year.

The Lion Man, so named after he threw a worker into a lion’s den years ago, allegedly drove his car over Silence Mabunda twice. He had to be hospitalised. Scott-Crossley evaded arrest but was nabbed in January. – ANA
