Wife gets life

THE Polokwane High Court has sentenced a 44-year-old woman to life in prison for shooting her husband dead during a domestic argument, Limpopo police said yesterday.

Spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said Carolina Catherine Visser had previously complained about her abusive husband but never reported him to the police.

She was further sentenced to three years for illegal possession of a firearm. – ANA
