Attacker killed
MOSCOW: A man believed to be a member of a neoNazi group opened fire at an intelligence agency office in the far-eastern Russian city of Khabarovsk yesterday, killing an officer and a civilian.
The attack took place in the waiting area of an office of Russia’s Federal Security Service, the intelligence agency that took over from the Soviet KGB. The gunman, identified as 18-year-old AV Konev, was killed at the scene, state media reported.
