Now Justin Bieber appears to have joined the long list of celebrities who make ludicrous demands while on the road.
Ahead of the India leg of his Purpose tour next week, the 23-yearold singer has reportedly requested two five-star hotels for his 120-strong team, chef-prepared meals named after his songs, a jet and helicopter on standby to meet his “travel demands”, a Jacuzzi to “unwind in before he takes the stage” and purple carnations.
The list, which appeared to be from a member of Bieber’s team, was uploaded on to Twitter by Mumbai-based journalist Arjun Ravi. Other demands include an “Indian yoga casket” packed full of essential oils, a female masseuse flown in from the Indian state of Kerala, a convoy of 10 luxury sedans and two Volvo buses for his entourage and a RollsRoyce reserved for him.
The document also stated the two 5 star hotels were to be reserved for “security reasons” and “the hotel will convert itself into Bieber’s private villa with three floors of the hotel being booked for the artist and his entourage and one lift for the singer alone.
“Top culinary experts will supervise the gourmet being served to Bieber over the four days with five dishes per day being renamed after his popular songs.’ His hotel room and backstage dressing room will also need to undergo some changes The release states: “The hotel will re-design his suite and incorporate Mogul paintings, antique furniture and signature Kashmiri bedroom linen.
The Canadian singer rented a £25 million home in London on his UK tour last year. His representatives did not respond when contacted for comment.
