Blasts kill 28 in Pakistan
QUETTA: Bombs killed 28 people in Pakistan yesterday, with a suicide car bomber killing 13 in the south-western city of Quetta, and two blasts later killing 15 in the north-west town of Parachinar.
Seven police officers were killed in the first attack, in Quetta, which happened when police stopped the car to search it at a checkpoint, police officials said.
At least 19 people were wounded in the Quetta blast.
