GREAT news for all fans of The Independent on Saturday’s popular weekly “Durban Then and Now” picture feature – a new book is on the way.

The collection will be volume 4 in the series – and more good news is the previous 3 volumes will also be available – and the more you buy, the cheaper they’ll be.

Ideal Christmas presents, or a welcome addition to the well-dressed bookshelf, the latest edition of 48 pages of fascinating Durban history in pictures is yours for R249, including VAT. A portion of the cost goes to the Daily News Milk Fund.

For three copies, regardless of which volumes, pay R224 (incl VAT) per copy; and for all four you will only pay R199 (incl VAT) per copy.

Readers are asked to preorder – volume 1 (published in 2011); volume 2 (2012); volume 3 (2013); and volume 4, or all four.

To order, e-mail your name, address and a contact number to Sne Hlela at snethemba. hlela@inl.co.za or call 031 308 2564.

All volumes have been printed by Burblepix, which has added an exciting new venture to its business: selfpublishing.
