Agricultural futures

SOYA beans for delivery in November climbed 0.3 percent to $9.84 a bushel (R5 015 a ton) on the Chicago Board of Trade yesterday afternoon.

Futures were up for a second day.

Maize for December was holding gains at $3.58 a bushel.

Futures earlier touched $3.59 a bushel, the highest for rolling most-active contract since July 19.
