20 hurt as taxis crash

ABOUT 20 people were injured yesterday when two taxis collided on the Old Main Road in Hammarsdale.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said that paramedics found both vehicles on the side of the road.

“One of the taxis was on its roof. Two patients were trapped inside. About 20 others had injuries ranging from minor to critical.”
