Baby’s body found

THE body of a newborn baby has been found in a plastic packet under a tree near a shopping mall in the Durban north suburb of La Lucia, paramedics said yesterday.

“The discovery was made by a security guard.

“Paramedics were dispatched and confirmed the discovery to be the body of a newborn baby,” Crisis Medical said.

The scene had been secured and handed over to the police for further investigation, it said. – ANA
