The West dominated Muslim lands

FRED Erasmus claims in his letter to The Mercury “Not as rosy as the author suggests” and then says “there may be 50 references to Jews but I suspect they all incite Muslims to kill Jews”.

The Qur’an never refers to Jews and Christians as infidels. They are referred to (only) as the “People of the Book” and part of the Abrahamic family of believers.

The Qur’an was revealed not in two parts but over a period of 23 years.The Qur’an refers to Jews about 50 times and to Moses 137 times. So Mr Erasmus why not clarify your concerns first?.

In an authentic (Hadith) saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) it states: “whoever hurts a person from the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) it will be as though he hurt me”.

The author claims that Islam is a religion of domination. Where is the evidence?

Muslim countries like Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Yemen, Egypt, Bahrain are occupied by the West. The rest of the 57 Muslim countries were occupied by Western Imperialists for 200 years. It is the West that has dominated Muslim lands. EM JADWAT
