Goolgoola (drop doughnuts )

1 cup self-raising flour ½ cup plain flour 1 tsp baking powder 2 tsp elachi powder ½ cup sugar or to taste ½ cup desiccated coconut +- ½ cup milk to make a firm batter (use a little more if needed) 2 tbs melted butter Oil for frying Sieve the flours, baking powder and elachi and then add the sugar.

Pour in the milk a little at a time to make a thick batter, and leave mixture to stand for 15 minutes.

Add the melted butter just before frying and mix well.

Wet your hands and make small balls. Fry in oil on medium heat till golden brown.

Remove from heat and set on paper towels to drain.
