THE recently appointed executive of the SA Fed Soccer Legends will hold a general meeting at the Savera Hotel in Kharwastan next Tuesday (September 27) at 6.30pm.

The purpose is to draw up a list of activities for 2016/17.

PRO Peter Pillay said: “There’s lots of enthusiasm among the new executive, we need to engage with our members to plot the way forward.

“On the agenda will be a match between the Durban and Midlands chapters of the organisation on November 5 at the Chatsworth Stadium. The intention is to encourage youngsters to excel in football. We will be hosting coaching sessions and get youth involved in the day’s activities,” said Pillay.

An inter-provincial tournament will also take place in March next year in Durban. The KZN branch are holders of the inter-provincial title after winning it in PE in 2014.

Now in its 10th year, the SA Fed Legends, which represents players and management officials during the South African Soccer League and the Federation Professional League eras is now a national body.
