A feast of sevens rugby

CIRCLE Friday, February 19, on your calendar in red as you do not want to miss out on some of the top local schools’ rugby sevens teams going head to head in this inaugural extravaganza of talent.

The Mlungisi stadium will be the venue for the Fischer’s Dairy Sevens showpiece which, with the added support of the department of sport, recreation, arts and culture in the Queenstown district and The Rep, will also offer the community a family fun day filled with entertainment. Teams from several local schools will go head to head to battle it out for top honours. Planning for the event is well underway and it promises to be an unforgettable day of sport with the added attraction of jumping castles for the young ones.

Families are asked to dress in predominantly grey and black, being the area’s colours, with a touch of white.
