Madlongwana said the trust was well run and there had never been complaints of mismanagement.
There were monthly meetings where community members, councillors and traditional leaders formed part. Madlongwana said the trust had formulated partnerships with government including Chris Hani District Municipality.

The trust had received revenue and established a network of seven cooperatives for 728 sheep, invested in shares in a cooler box manufacturing company – Ikusasa Green - and had shares in Sasol Inzalo.
The trust had also set up a commercial cattle farming and sheep farming operations and established youth cooperatives.
Lukhanji Leisure board chairman Zolani Mtshotshisa, said there would be no changes until the end of the contract on the board he was chairing.
He disputed the claims of excluding Zulukama as a shareholder. “There might be rearrangements here and there but no one will be disadvantaged.”
