-

FESTIVITIES are the order of the day for the official launch of the fully-fledged Build It store in Whittlesea today.

The store was initially a satellite of Build It Queenstown but has since been awarded its own Build It status.

Situated in the main road of Whittlesea, the satellite store opened in 2002 after owners Vaughan and Cathrine Hartley realised the need for a hardware store to serve the needs of the residents of Whittlesea and surrounds.

The business services the construction market, but also caters for the do-it-yourself enthusiast working around the house.

Key staff members include manager Jan Pretorius with assistants Julia Gweka and Morné Janse van Rensburg, credit consultant Andisiwe Sigayi and sales consultants Abongile Gweka, Lindokuhle Zenzile, Fundile Guga and Vuyolwethu Mavi.

Shoppers can find a variety of hardware at Build It, Whittlesea and with ample park- ing available, finding what you need should be a breeze.
