Musician’s swift rise to success

-

KOMANI music producer and House DJ Tamsanqa Ngxeketo, aka Blaque, is due to release his debut album,

. The album, which contains 10 tracks, tells the story of his life.

“All of the songs are intense but it is not a sad story. I believe the album is relevant to every life situation an ordinary person may be going through.”

Blaque said the album featured the talents of Jasmine Clemente, Samantha Faison (US), Nengah Krisnarini (Indonesia) and Jonny Miller (London, UK).

After moving to Johannesburg to advance his music career at 18, Blaque said he started up with the famous South African House Soul Candi records in 2009.

Over the past three years the artist has made a name for himself after featuring with international artists such as Dolls Combers Records (Italy) and Nylon Trax (US) with their collaboration hitting the DJ Hype charts.

His success has earned Blaque the reputation of being considered as one of the youngest artists who will represent the future of house music on a national and international scale.

He describes his style of music as a “chilled out, soul-driven vibe with sweet, soulful fusions.”

The album will be available in stores on June 3.

The album is to be followed by a world tour and a music video shoot in New York.
