Police arrest man with haul of Kat
THE Komani police have arrested a 40-year-old man and seized Kat valued at R5000.
Police spokesman Captain Namhla Mdleleni said the man was arrested while travelling from Cathcart to Port Elizabeth last week.
The police then proceeded to Cathcart where five suspects, aged between 21 and 35, were arrested for allegedly being in possession of dagga.
All suspects appeared in the Komani Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
In a separate incident, police arrested five suspects, aged between 25 and 30, for being in possession of dagga valued at R500 in Mlungisi on Tuesday.
