Animals at the SPCA need winter warmth
THE Komani SPCA is seeking assistance from the public to take care of the little friends in cages that are in need of food, toys and blankets.
“Winter is slowly approaching and these animals need food and blankets, especially the little puppies and kittens,” manager Betty Cree said.
“Blankets are the main things that we’re in need of from the public, as they will help tremendously to save the animals from the cold.”
Cree said there were animals up for adoption which were in need of loving homes with safe environments.
“The municipality does supply us with some of our needs, but it is not enough as we have a lot of animals that have basic needs. We welcome any food handouts and blankets from people,” Cree said.
Anyone willing to donate food or blankets, or who want to adopt, should contact the SPCA at (045) 839-2819.
