Little Chloe takes victory

ON Saturday an individual Stableford was played, and there was the amazing occurrence of no less than with eight two-clubs being achieved, Six of them were on the 16th hole and this must be some sort of a record.

The winner on Saturday was Colin Hartley on 38 points. Second was Chloe Buss on 36 points and Mike Edkins was third on 36 points, losing the count out. Fourth came Gay Wormald on 35 points.

The two-clubs were as follows: Dorian Heuer on the 8th, Kenny Brown on the 11th, Gay Wormald, Mike Edkins, John Lynch, Colin Hartley, Kenny Brown and Nico Claasen on the 16th.

It’s going to be a bumper golf weekend starting this afternoon.

The Golfers’ Club from Port Elizabeth is making the trip up for everyone to try out clubs, footwear and clothing, so if you have anything specific that you would like to try out please contact Matthew on 041-363-0470 or e-mail him on

Speaking of Saturday, it is the much anticipate­d SAPS Widows and Orphans golf day.
