Tribute to Dr Dumisani Nobetsiki Simbongile Pambuka and Nopasika Pinzi

-

What a gentleman, what a leader, indeed we must give him praise as his name is also Dumisani meaning “give praise”.

Nobetsiki graduated with a MBCHb degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2010.

He did his internship in Kwazulu-Natal and completed two years of community service at Frontier Hospital in Komani. He opened a private practice in 2014 and within a space of four years had three branches (the one in Komani and one each in Tarkastad and Hofmeyr). Where he saw a need, he filled the gap hence the establishment of the Tarkastad and Hofmeyr branches.

Nobetsiki also had a passion for ministry and served diligently in many leadership roles at the Assemblies of God under the leadership of Rev Bongani Ntsele. He touched many lives and God used him to transform many lives of young and old people at the church with his gifts of co-ordination, innovation and leadership. He served Komani and surrounding towns diligently as a medical doctor until his last day.

Myles Munroe puts it this way, “The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without a purpose.” Nobetsiki lived his purpose and completed his assignment and we are thankful to him for all he did. His memorial service was held on February 26 at the Assembly of God, Mlungisi and he was buried at his home in Sitshayelo, Lusikisiki. We thank his wife, Thembi, for affording him the time to serve the nation with passion and his mother who raised him to be the man he was. May his soul rest in peace.
