The gentle spring rain at the weekend was most welcome and 30mm was measured in Top Town. Much more will, however, be needed to fill the water supply dams and break the ongoing drought and residents should continue to avoid wastage.

At the change of seasons the weather remains variable, as is to be expected. On Friday the temperature will range between a chilly 8°C in the morning, going up to only 18°C at the maximum. It will be partly cloudy with a moderate breeze and there is a slight chance of rain.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with just a few clouds about and a gentle breeze. There is still a slight chance of some moisture and humidity will be fairly high.

Sunday will be a wonderful opportunity to have a braai or spend some time outdoors as it will be mostly sunny with just a little cloud. The minimum temperature will be 14° and the maximum up to 29°C. The wind will be moderate.
