Celebrating freedom

CZECHS marked the 25th anniversary of the end of communism with marches, rallies, concerts and exhibitions yesterday. President Milos Zeman hosted his counterparts from Germany, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia in unveiling a plaque and talking to students. The Velvet Revolution began in Prague on November 17, 1989. Student protests began a week after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
