Murder accused case postponed

THE CASE against murder accused Sydney Moshapo will continue in January. Moshapo, who owns the Dollar Table bar in Melville, Joburg, was arrested last month for the brutal murder of 28-year-old Thulane Popoyi. He was granted bail at his first court appearance due to lack of evidence, and the case was postponed for further investigations. Popoyi was stabbed to death while out with his friends at the bar. He told them he was going to the toilet but never returned. Moshapo appeared in court on Tuesday but the case was stood down to January 20 for further investigations. – Mpiletso Motumi
