Ebola fails to stop election

WITH the number of reported Ebola cases in Liberia dropping, authorities have given the go-ahead for elections on December 16 in the West African nation. The election was supposed to have been held on October 16, but there were hundreds of new Ebola cases each week, leading to a postponement. The rate of infection has dropped to fewer than 100 cases weekly.
