Expect more thundershowers for Gauteng

THE WET weather is expected to continue in Gauteng this weekend.

A 30 percent chance of thundershowers was expected in the early hours of today, said forecaster Christina Thaele of the South African Weather Service, adding that it should clear during the day.

There was also a small chance of thundershowers in the afternoon.

Tomorrow, there was a 30 percent chance of thundershowers.

Thaele said the possibility of thundershowers would increase to 60 percent on Sunday, especially in the afternoon.

But, there is good news for the rest of the country – dry weather was expected, except for in KwaZuluNatal where there is a 60 percent chance of thundershowers predicted for the entire weekend, the weather forecaster said. – Staff Reporter
