Accident claims miner’s life

AN ANGLOGOLD Ashanti employee was killed in an accident at the Mponeng mine in Carletonville, the company said on Wednesday. “The deceased, a scraper winch operator, was fatally injured in a fall… yesterday (Tuesday)”, said spokesman Chris Nthite.
