Safa’s chief medico for CAF congress

Safa’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr Thulani Ngwenya has been invited to a ground-breaking CAF fifth Medical Congress to run from October 14-16 in Cairo, Egypt.The Congress will discuss the critical matters of doping, injuries and nutrition as well as cardiac arrest, gender verification and age determination of the Under-17 category. Also on the agenda is the management of football during pandemic outbreaks such as Ebola. “It is a critical seminar which will take Africa’s professionalism to the next level,” said Ngwenya.
