Degree of doubt in Dlamini’s claims

- David Williams

IT IS clear that something very fishy is going on with left-wing fanatic and wannabe revolutionary Mcebo Dlamini’s qualifications.

In the article “Dlamini funding shock”, (Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza) Lesufi is reported as stating that Dlamini is being funded for an LLM degree (Master of Laws); but he has claimed that he is doing a doctorate in law.

Additionally, when the last series of #FeesMustFall protests took off, as well as when he made his comments about loving Hitler because he killed whites, he was reported as being in second or third year, depending on the media outlet.

He has also been at Wits for a very long time, being in the SRC when I was an undergraduate (four years ago).

Now, this does not make sense; there is no way he leapt from second or third year to a PhD in such a short time, and the fact that the Education Department is under the impression that he is doing a Master’s degree when he has stated he is a PhD student also does not make sense. What is he actually registered for?

Considering the confusion over his age, as well as his former claims to being a long-lost member of the Luthuli clan and to being a qualified astrophysicist, lawyer and rocket scientist, which were all shown to be false, one has to wonder if his stated academic qualifications are true. Joburg
