Chief executive gives notice
CARGO Carriers’ chief executive, Murray Bolton, plans to retire within the next 12 months. The listed logistics and transportation group said on Friday that Bolton, which has given more than 24 years of service to the company, had notified its board that he wanted to enjoy a greater degree of personal and family time. It said the board would immediately commence with the process of identifying and appointing a successor to Bolton and implement the appropriate measures to ensure a smooth transition to a new leadership team. The group said a further announcement about this would be made in due course. – Roy Cokayne
