Youngster’s gang-rape horror

A 10-YEAR-OLD boy was raped by five unknown men in the veld in Thabong, Free State, on Sunday, police said yesterday. The boy and his friends were apparently swimming naked in a pond at around 4.30pm when they were approached by five men wearing blankets and walking with dogs. Spokesperson Sergeant Mamello Mokhuoane said the friends managed to run away but the men caught up with the boy. “They allegedly made him hold onto a pole while they raped him. After the ordeal, the boy ran and reported the matter,” said Mokhuoane. He was rushed to hospital and police were called to the scene. A case of five counts of rape was registered for further investigation.
