Where’s my refund, Translux?

AFTER trying to claim a refund for almost two months without success I felt I should approach your desk for assistance.

I have engaged in lengthy correspond­ence with Christine Jacobs of the customer care division of Autopax/Translux.

I was supposed to travel to Pretoria on November 6 last year but cancelled on the fourth after receiving a call from my lawyer cancelling our appointmen­t for that Monday due unforeseen circumstan­ces on his part.

The Autopax/Translux bookings office referred me to their customer care office for a refund and that’s when my nightmare began.

I decided to approach you because I am suspicious there are more people out there whose monies were stolen in the same fashion as mine. Please help.

Georgie: Christine Jacobs from Autopax/Translux promised to send proof of payment but none was provided by my deadline, despite reminders.

She then told me she was waiting on the finance department to furnish said proof. Nothing was forthcomin­g.
