Confusion over ‘new’ leader

This suggestion came from the former public protector, and has been ignored by the ANC.
The minister of police has said persons wishing to become ANC leaders will be subjected to an inquiry by the “Revolutionary Electoral Commission”.
When did the revolution take place, and when did this commission come into being?
The ANC membership is “discouraged” from discussing the matter of a new leader of the ANC but still there is much talk.
As an ordinary man in the street, it seems to me that the ANC is confused.
The ANC states that the NEC do not take decisions but come to agreements after much discussion. How then are any conclusions reached at any ANC meeting? Oakdene
