Clouded judgment
Not even a tornado swirling behind him was going to stop former South African Theunis Wessels from getting his work done in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada. According to his wife Cecilia, mowing the lawn was on her husband’s to-do list for the day and he was adamant that he wanted to finish. Cecilia, who took the photograph of Theunis that has since gone viral, said: “I did ask him if he was coming inside with that thing in the clouds, and he calmly said ‘no’.” Theunis said the tornado was actually much further away than it appears in the photo, and it was moving away from them.
