Taxis collide, killing woman

A WOMAN was killed and 24 four others were injured in a collision between two taxis on the R55 in Olievenhoutbosch, Centurion, yesterday, ER24 paramedics said. Spokesperson Russel Meiring said paramedics discovered the body of a woman lying inside one of the taxis. “Unfortunately, the woman had succumbed to her injuries. Nothing could be done for her and she was declared dead on the scene.” He said 24 people were injured. “The patients were treated for their injuries and the critically injured provided with advanced life-support interventions,” Meiring said. The patients were transported to hospitals. – ANA
