City ombudsman office reactivates its website

-

THE OFFICE of the Ombudsman for the City of Joburg has announced the activation of its website www.joburgombudsman.org.za.

“Our mandate is to become the voice of the people of Joburg in representing their interests – our goal is to ensure that we create platforms where the people of this city can have access to our services and to make information available. We are indeed excited about reactivating our website, which is certainly the beginning of the bigger outreach program that we are soon to initiate” said acting ombudsman Dinkie Dube.

The website will give the public an opportunity to receive information about the office and steps to follow on how to lodge a complaint. This will include downloading complaint forms, access to the by-laws, contact details and other important information that citizens should know. The public is encouraged to visit the website and give feedback and share their comments on the social media platforms – Facebook: OmbudsmanCOJ, and Twitter: @jhbombudsman.

“Residents can also visit our office at Isle of Houghton, Wilds View 2, 11 Boundary Road in Houghton or contact the help desk number 010 288 2800.”
