Two held for sep­a­rate mur­ders

TWO MEN have been ar­rested for two sep­a­rate mur­ders in North West, po­lice said yes­ter­day. Bri­gadier Sa­bata Mokg­wabone said a 29-year-old man was ar­rested on Satur­day af­ter he al­legedly stabbed a 21-year-old man to death in Ganyesa. “It ap­pears that the sus­pect and the vic­tim were at a lo­cal tav­ern, where an ar­gu­ment en­sued. The sus­pect took out a knife and al­legedly stabbed the vic­tim, who was taken to Ganyesa Clinic, where he died. The in­ci­dent was then re­ported to the po­lice, who traced and ar­rest the sus­pect.” he said. In a sep­a­rate case, a 29-year-old man was ar­rested for al­legedly killing his girl­friend in Lo­manya­neng out­side Mahikeng on Fri­day. The vic­tim was found ly­ing dead in a house with a stab wound to the neck. The mo­tive was un­known Mokg­wabone said. both men would ap­pear in court soon. – ANA
