Two held for separate murders

TWO MEN have been arrested for two separate murders in North West, police said yesterday. Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone said a 29-year-old man was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly stabbed a 21-year-old man to death in Ganyesa. “It appears that the suspect and the victim were at a local tavern, where an argument ensued. The suspect took out a knife and allegedly stabbed the victim, who was taken to Ganyesa Clinic, where he died. The incident was then reported to the police, who traced and arrest the suspect.” he said. In a separate case, a 29-year-old man was arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend in Lomanyanen­g outside Mahikeng on Friday. The victim was found lying dead in a house with a stab wound to the neck. The motive was unknown Mokgwabone said. both men would appear in court soon. – ANA
