My landlord just doesn’t care

I HAVE a problem with my landlord. I live in a cottage and pay R3 000 in rent. I haven’t had hot water for the past six months. He says he doesn’t have R3 000 for a new geyser. I shower in the back room in the yard but I worry about safety – I start work at 4am so get up at 2.30am.

He just wants his rent. My basin tap in the bathroom doesn’t have cold water. He disconnected it, to connect his washing machine. The toilet pipes are connected to the basin and kitchen sink. It stinks a lot. M Hadebe
